Hawridge and Cholesbury Commons and the Commons Preservation Society
We have a wonderful natural environment to enjoy, right on our doorsteps!
Hawridge and Cholesbury Commons provide 105 acres of woodland and grassland, with sunny rides and open areas full of birds, butterflies and other wildlife. There is open access for walkers and dog walkers, with many attractive footpaths, as well as permissive horse-rides around the perimeter and a further ride, across the Commons, starting near the Full Moon pub.
The Commons Preservation Society (HCCPS)
The Society organises summer and winter events and conservation work on the Commons. Full details of membership, and information about our projects to encourage rare plants and wildlife are all available on our website:
Look us up and come to enjoy all that this lovely environment has to offer!
